Shinsa審査 shinsa, Japanese for “screening”: the check before you commit.

I規約Terms

Terms of service

Last updated: July 2026

These terms apply when you use Shinsa. They are written to be read, not to hide things.

What Shinsa is, and what it is not

Shinsa compares your CV against a job posting and gives one verdict: GO, HOLD, or SKIP, with reasoning. That verdict is an opinion produced by a language model. It can be wrong, and it is not career advice, legal advice, or any kind of promise about your chances.

You decide whether to apply. We are not liable for a job you did not get, or for a job you skipped because the board said SKIP.

Your account

One account is for one person. Keep your password to yourself. Everything that happens under your account is your responsibility. You must be 16 or older.

Only upload a CV you are entitled to upload. Do not use Shinsa to screen other people without their knowledge.

The fares

  • Standby is free and gives you 2 screenings per calendar month, delivered through a slower queue.
  • Priority costs €14.99 per month or €29.99 per quarter and renews automatically until you cancel. It is unlimited within a fair use ceiling of 100 screenings per month, which exists to stop automated abuse and which you will not hit by job hunting normally.
  • Carnet costs €9 once and adds 10 screenings. It does not expire and it is not a subscription.

Prices include VAT. Payments run through Stripe. If a payment fails, your Priority access stops at the end of the period you already paid for.

Cancelling

Cancel Priority whenever you like through the account menu, under manage subscription. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for, and you are not charged again. We do not refund the remainder of a running month or quarter.

Refunds and your right to withdraw

As a consumer in the EU you normally have fourteen days to withdraw from a digital service. Because Shinsa delivers immediately, you agree when you buy that delivery starts at once and that your right of withdrawal ends as soon as you have used a screening.

If you have not used a single screening since buying, mail us within fourteen days and you get your money back. Beyond that: if the board is broken, or a screening fails and still costs you a punch on your carnet, tell us and we will fix it or refund it. We would rather refund you than argue.

Fair use and abuse

Do not scrape the service, resell verdicts, or run it through automated pipelines. If you do, we can suspend your account. If we suspend you for something you did not do, you get the unused part of your money back.

Availability

Shinsa depends on other services, including the model that produces the verdict. Things break sometimes. We do not promise uptime, and a temporary outage does not entitle you to a refund. A long or permanent one does.

Your data

Your CV stays yours. What we store and who processes it is written out in the privacy statement.

Liability

If we cause you damage and we are legally liable for it, our liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before it happened. Nothing here limits liability for intent, gross negligence, or anything the law says cannot be limited.

Changes

We can change these terms. If a change matters to you, we mail you at least thirty days before it takes effect, and you can cancel before then.

Which law applies

Dutch law applies. Disputes go to the competent court in the Netherlands. If you are a consumer, you keep every right that the law of your own country gives you.
